New Membership read by Johnnie Davis, Doug Lewis and Raul Hernandez- voted in. We now have 131 active (paid) members.

Johnnie said that he rejected Ricky May’s membership application based on the information that he had no motorcycle license.  Danny Bustamante made comment that he was told by several members that they would not ride with him because they felt that May’s bike was unsafe.  Randy Bland led a discussion about the rejection of an applicant cannot be made by one individual and he had to be a group decision; debate ensued.

Charlie Bean mentioned that maybe a new bylaw would be needed to cover the area of unsafe bikes.

Show and Shine report- expenses for show and shine were approximately $$$$(not all the information was available at the time of the meeting).  The Show and Shine made about $$$$. Bean motioned that the expenses we now have should be paid and pay the others when the bill comes in, it was seconded by Jarrod long. Motion passed.

Mike wanted to thank everyone for the welcome home they did on June 7th.  Daniel Bustamante also thanked everyone for their hard work and dedication in helping out.

Kelly Shultz commented that in the executive meeting held, members thought that as the show and shine grows, so would the funding, and that the money for the show and shine should be split 50-50 where the family of Nathaniel Delaney would receive half and the other half would be put aside to help other children as the need arises. Cliff Love further explained this.

Teresa Stalnaker said that the executive committee did not have the power to change what was already motioned by the group as a whole; however, meeting notes that discussed the show and shine money and where/who/how it should be given could not be found at the time of this meeting.

Therefore, it was decided to give all the proceeds to Nathaniel Delaney’s family.  It was motioned by Charlie Bean that the money made by the following show and shines should be -- a chosen family receives a minimum of $1000.00 (or all proceeds if less than that) and if more than a $1000 is made, then 50% of proceeds goes to family and the remaining money should be set aside for helping only other children when needed.  It was 2nd by Kim Bustamante – and so noted.

T-shirts from the show and shine paid for themselves, with some left over, those t-shirts will be sold Bean motioned that the money from them will be used as start up money for next year’s show and shine. It was 2nd and passed.

Keys donated his Sirloin Stockade meal coupons that he won at the show and shine to Lindley to again thank him for cleaning the canteen.

Bruce Pendlay was upset at the member turn out for the show and shine, and he made a motioned that more people need to do what they committee to doing.  Discussion took place and it was decided that people will be held accountable, through the taking down names of members when they committee to something and that others members will call them out if they do not do what they said they would.
